Ningbo Joyson Electronic (SHA:600699) is considering a listing of its shares on the Hong Kong exchange, according to a Saturday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
The planned listing in Hong Kong is expected to help the auto parts supplier boost its international branding and image and help with competitiveness, the filing said.
Joyson is still discussing with intermediaries regarding the listing and will implement it within 18 months from shareholder approval, the filing said.
Shares fell 2% during Monday's late morning trading.
