CPI Aerostructures (CVU) said Wednesday it has won $12.1 million contract from L3Harris Technologies (LHX) to provide airborne pod structures.

The company expects to deliver the next generation jammer - low band, or NGJ-LB, pods next year and extend the delivery through 2027, CPI added.

The contract will support L3Harris' delivery of the operational prototype pods to the US Naval Air Systems Command, CPI said, adding that the NGJ-LB pods will run on the EA-18G Growler.

NGJ-LB is expected to attain early operational capability in 2029, according to CPI.
