Meridian Energy's (ASX:MEZ, NZE:MEL) retail sales volumes rose 1.8% year on year to 805 gigawatt hours in November, according to a Monday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
By segment, sales were up 0.6% in residential, over 11% in agricultural, and 7.8% in large business. Small medium business and corporate sales were down 1.1% and 1.8%, respectively.
National electricity demand fell 2.2%. National hydro storage decreased to 134% from 139% of the historical average. Total inflows for November reached 119% of the historical average.
Meridian Energy's shares were up over 4% in recent Monday trade in Australia.
