Steelcase (SCS) reported fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings late Wednesday of $0.30 per diluted share, up from $0.29 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.22.
Revenue in the three months ended Nov. 22 rose to $794.9 million from $777.9 million a year earlier.
Five analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $796.6 million.
The company expects fiscal Q4 adjusted EPS of $0.20 to $0.24 on revenue of $770 million to $795 million. Four analysts polled by FactSet expect $0.22 on revenue of $834.6 million.
Steelcase's board kept the quarterly dividend at $0.10 a share, payable around Jan.13 to holders of record Dec. 30.
Shares were up 2.5% in recent after-hours activity.
