Sigma Healthcare (ASX:SIG) said the pharmaceutical wholesaler agreement recently finalized by the Australian Government is expected to have minimal impact on the company's guidance for fiscal 2025 earnings before interest and taxes, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The conditions of the five-year agreement will start from January 2025, with full run-rate benefits expected to be achieved from July 2026 due to its staggered implementation over the next 18 months, the filing said.

The agreement, reached between the government, the Department of Health and Aged Care, and the National Pharmaceutical Services Association, will govern commercial terms of pharmaceutical wholesale in Australia, according to the filing.
