1013 GMT - The U.K. water-utility sector looks set to recover from uncertainties that have weighed on shares, Barclays analysts write in a research note. More clarity regarding regulatory, political and environmental issues in the months ahead is expected following the water regulator's final decisions on pricing, investment levels and returns, they say. The analysts see improvement in achieved returns on regulatory equity for Severn Trent, Pennon and United Utilities. While all of the utilities look set for a rerating of the stock, Pennon remains Barclays's favored pick. Shares in Pennon are 3.7% lower at 5.66 pounds. United Utilities shares are down 2.7% at 10.36 pounds and Severn Trent shares are down 2.3% at 25.15 pounds. (christian.moess@wsj.com)
