Premier Investments (ASX:PMV) cautioned investors about relying on a media report from The Australian published Monday about internal documents and financial data allegedly sourced from the company, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company said the information does not reflect its full financial position, especially ahead of key trading events such as Christmas, Boxing Day, and Back-to-School sales, which are yet to occur, the filing said.
The events are critical to the company's results for the first half of fiscal 2025, the filing added.
Shares of the company fell almost 1% in recent Tuesday trade.
