智通财经APP获悉，澳大利亚西农集团(WFAFY.US)将以7.7亿澳元(约合4.8亿美元)的价格将旗下工业气体部门Coregas出售给日本Nippon Sanso Holdings Corp.的一家子公司。
据悉，Coregas为澳大利亚和新西兰的大中型用户生产和供应工业、医疗和特种气体。西农集团周五在一份监管文件中表示，预计在2025年中期完成交易后，该集团将实现最高达2.6亿澳元的税前利润。该集团董事总经理Rob Scott表示：“出售符合西农集团股东的最佳利益，也符合我们对投资组合管理的严格关注。”
受此消息影响，西农集团在悉尼交易所交易的股票价格下跌了5%，这是自2022年5月以来的最大单日跌幅。
E&P Capital分析师Phillip Kimber在一份报告中表示，西农集团“收到了Coregas的高价格”，“然而，在整个西农集团的背景下，这在很大程度上是无关紧要的”。
