Zhonghua Gas (HKG:8246) has fully repaid convertible bonds subscribed by a unit of heat energy supplier Kai Yuan (HKG:1215), according to a Friday filing.
The convertible bonds were issued by Zhonghua Gas in November 2020. In November 2023, Kai Yuan had granted a three-week grace period to the issuer after the latter failed to repay the convertible bonds.
The parties had reached a settlement agreement regarding the repayment in May.
