Sun Silver (ASX:SS1) extended mineralization at the Maverick Springs project in Nevada following initial results from a maiden drill program, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program yielded up to 35 meters at 89.7 grams per tonne (g/t) silver equivalent from 315.5 meters and 4.6 meters at 417.1 g/t silver equivalent from 266.7 meters, the filing said.
Shares of the mining firm were up 2% in recent Wednesday trade.
