IT之家 12 月 18 日消息，在英国议会就人工智能和版权展开辩论之际，披头士乐队成员保罗・麦卡特尼发出警告：若不加以谨慎对待，人工智能可能会将年轻的音乐人挤出舞台。

麦卡特尼对于生成式 AI 及其对音乐行业的影响表示了新的担忧。他警告说，若 AI 不断产生模仿人类艺术家的音乐，却不给予创作者应有的荣誉或支付版税，那么年轻音乐人将面临更加严峻的挑战，可能很难脱颖而出。

根据 TechRadar 今日的报道，当前英国政府正在审议修改数据法，政府考虑允许艺术家选择退出将自己作品用于训练 AI 的程序。若此法案通过，艺术家将能拒绝 AI 基于其作品进行训练，限制 AI 模仿这些作品的能力。

麦卡特尼表示：“我们必须谨慎，因为 AI 有可能完全接管这一切，我们不希望这种情况发生，尤其是对于那些年轻的作曲家和词曲创作者来说，对他们而言，这可能是唯一的职业道路。如果 AI 消灭了这一点，那将是极其悲哀的。”

不仅在议会中，AI 与音乐版权之间的冲突还体现在多个领域。许多使用人工智能创作音乐的应用，如Tad.AI、Suno 和 Udio，正在遭遇主要音乐公司提起的诉讼。

据IT之家此前报道，传奇乐队披头士乐队“最后一首”歌曲《Now and Then》于今年 11 月正式发行。这首歌曲最大的亮点在于利用 WingNut Films 的人工智能算法，通过训练约翰・列侬排练时的声音，可以补全尚未完成的这首作品。
