英国国家电网周三表示，根据其输电业务的商业规划，在截至2031年3月的五年内向该业务投资至多350亿英镑（444.5亿美元）。

　　英国国家电网公司经营着英国的能源系统，并在美国纽约和马萨诸塞州经营电力和天然气业务。该公司表示，这项投资包括超过110亿英镑用于维护和升级现有输电网络，以及英国三个加速战略输电投资（ASTI）项目的建设工程。

　　ASTI项目是英国国家电网计划的关键组成部分，旨在建设新的电网基础设施，以减少英国对化石燃料的依赖，到2030年将连接50吉瓦的海上风电。

　　英国的目标是到2030年实现电力行业的大规模脱碳，这意味着减少对燃气发电厂的依赖，并迅速增加可再生能源发电能力。
