国际能源署（IEA）的数据显示，至少在2027年之前，全球煤炭需求每年都将创下新的纪录，推翻了此前对煤炭需求在去年见顶的估计，突显出限制导致全球变暖的碳排放所面临的挑战。

　　国际能源署的最新预测显示，到2027年，煤炭需求将上升至近89亿吨，比2024年的水平高出约1%。这推翻了去年的估计，即煤炭需求将在本十年开始稳步下降。实际情况可能会超过目前的估计，因为近年来煤炭需求一直超过IEA的预测。

　　要想根据《巴黎协定》的要求在2050年实现净零排放，并限制全球变暖，全球煤炭使用量需要在本十年大幅下降。地球的温度可能已经比工业化前的水平高出1.5摄氏度，这表明集体气候行动正在失败。

　　国际能源署能源市场和安全主管Keisuke Sadamori周三在一份声明中表示：“我们的模型显示，到2027年，全球对煤炭的需求将趋于稳定，尽管电力消费将大幅上升。然而，天气因素将对煤炭需求的短期趋势产生重大影响。从中期来看，电力需求的增长速度也将非常重要。”

　　国际能源署一直预测煤炭需求将在至少5年内趋于稳定，但后来又修正了自己的估计。2024年的煤炭需求比几年前的预测高出约9%。
