The Federal Court of Australia dismissed a case against Super Retail Group (ASX:SUL) filed by former executives over a settlement claim, multiple media outlets reported Monday.

Justice Michael Lee ordered the dismissal on Monday without publishing his reasons.

Rebecca Farrell, the company's former chief legal officer, and Amelia Berczelly, its former secretary, wanted the retail giant to honor an alleged settlement agreement linked to their dismissal, but Super Retail denied the agreement's existence.

The two former employees have another case against the company in relation to claims of harassment, bullying, and breach of corporation laws. They also claim that Super Retail Chief Executive Anthony Heraghty had an affair with the company's former head of human resources.

Super Retail did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

The company's shares were up nearly 3% in recent Monday trade.
