Yangzhou Guangling District Taihe Rural Micro-Finance Proposed to Appoint Tian Zhenyong as Chairman

Yangzhou Guangling District Taihe Rural Micro-Finance (HKG:1915) has proposed to appoint Tian Zhenyong as the chairman of the board and to hold office until Jan. 19, 2027, a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

The proposal for the appointment of a new chairman came following the bankruptcy liquidation applications against the company's controlling and substantial shareholders, Jiangsu Botai Group and Jiangsu Liantai Fashion Shopping Mall Real Estate.

The company will dispatch a circular regarding the changes and about the extraordinary general meeting of the company to its shareholders in due course.

The shares of the rural micro-finance company were up nearly 5% on Monday's close.
