NERC 指出，加密挖矿用电量会随市场价格波动，而 AI 数据中心则需要持续的制冷和存储能源，这些不稳定因素给电网管理带来挑战。为应对这一趋势，德州已实施能源响应计划并通过 HB 3390 法案加强分布式能源管理，部分矿企如 MARA 也开始转向可再生能源。
