【美国“商界救火队长”去世 曾经拯救了时代华纳和花旗】金十数据12月27日讯，据外媒报道，美国商界的“救火队长”理查德·帕森斯（Richard Parsons）于周四在曼哈顿的家中去世，享年76岁。《纽约时报》援引他的朋友兰黛的话说，他的死因是骨癌。帕森斯曾经挽救了时代华纳、花旗集团和纽约“一角”储蓄银行（Dime Savings Bank）等陷入困境的公司。帕森斯于2002年被任命为美国时代华纳CEO，在他上任之前，新合并的公司公布了创纪录的542亿美元亏损，其股价在互联网泡沫破灭的背景下暴跌。到2007年底他辞去时代华纳公司CEO一职时，公司的财务状况已经稳定下来。帕森斯于2009年成为花旗集团的董事长，在大萧条时期承担起这家“大到不能倒”的银行的责任，他利用自己的经验为花旗集团谈判了一条避免像雷曼兄弟那样破产的道路。
