South Korea's SPC Group plans to invest $160 million in its largest overseas production facility in Burleson, Texas, The Korea Herald reported Thursday.
The 150,000-square-meter bakery plant is in the final stages of negotiation, with Johnson County and Burleson offering $10 million in subsidies. The agreement is expected to be finalized later in January, it said.
SPC currently operates facilities in China and Malaysia.
