消息面上，北京市市场监督管理局发布的食品安全抽检公告（2024年第73期）显示，九毛九旗下太二酸菜鱼一门店因筷子上检出阴离子合成洗涤剂（以十二烷基苯磺酸钠计）于日前被罚。今年三季度，九毛九旗下三大餐饮品牌同店日均销售额同比均出现下滑，其中，太二同店日均销售额同比分别减少18.3%。
高盛此前指，九毛九在国庆假期后的疲软态势在11月持续，这意味着10月至11月相对于疫情前的恢复水平低于第三季度。截至到目前为止的4Q同店销售额（SSSG）表现落后于该行的预期，尤其是对于太二品牌（考虑到较低的基数，该行预计4Q的SSSG为-13%，而3Q为-18%）。
