Gannett (GCI) and Thomson Reuters (TRI) unit Reuters said Thursday that they have partnered to create a bundled content service that offers ready-to-publish multimedia news, combining Reuters' international and national reporting with Gannett's USA TODAY Network's local coverage.
The new service is expected to provide text, images, and video to media outlets on topics such as breaking news, sports, entertainment, and lifestyle, the partners said.
Reuters will focus on national and international content, while the USA TODAY Network will provide local stories from publications across the US, the companies said.
