Jan 1 (Reuters) - Natural gas flows from Ukraine to Slovakia through a pipeline used to ship Russian gas to Europe stopped on Wednesday, Slovak transit pipeline system operator Eustream said.
Russia's energy firm Gazprom and Kyiv both said earlier that gas transit through Ukraine had stopped following the expiration of a transit agreement between Moscow and Kyiv.
