BlockBeats 消息，1 月 4 日，Base 和 Coinbase Wallet 负责人 Jesse Pollak 表示，团队正在“研究”将在 2025 年把 Coinbase 股票 COIN 引入由 Coinbase 孵化的 Layer 2 网络 Base，尽管目前“尚无具体计划”。
Pollak 发文称：“我们正处于探索阶段，致力于了解从监管角度需要解锁哪些要素，才能以安全、合规、面向未来的方式将像 COIN 这样的资产引入 Base。”他还同意将该股票引入 Layer 2“将会是一个巨大的进步”。
Pollak 指出，通过像 RWA 代币化平台 Backed 这样的项目，非美国公民实际上已经可以技术性地访问 COIN。他表示：“我们需要监管的清晰性以及拥抱链上开放平台的改进措施，才能为所有人解锁这一可能性。”（The Block）
