** Shares of Kimbell Royalty Partners fall 4.7% to $15.50 post-market as co looks to fund acquisition via equity raise

** Fort Worth-based firm will buy oil and natural gas mineral and royalty interests in the Midland Basin, with approx 875 producing wells on over 68,000 gross acres in $231 mln in cash-and-unit deal

** Co offering of 9 mln common units to fund cash portion of the acquisition of interests held by Boren Minerals

** Citi, JP Morgan and RBC jt bookrunners for offering

** KRP shares on Tues closed up 0.4% at $16.27. They were trading around $15 a year ago

** Co has ~95.5 mln shares outstanding for ~$1.6 bln market cap, per LSEG
