Odaily星球日报讯 在线大逃杀射击游戏《绝地求生》（PUBG）的创造者 Brendan Greene 于 2019 年离开了该游戏的开发团队，并公布了创建新一代以游戏为中心的元宇宙“Artemis”的计划，尽管不太可能包含 NFT。 Greene 近日接受 IGN 采访时表示，他“甚至没有考虑过”纳入 NFT，目前其游戏工作室 PlayerUnkown Productions 正在开发该项目。 其补充称：“我们关心的是让引擎达到我们可以在其中制作东西的状态，然后正如我所说，第二款游戏，我们会测试想法，但实际上现在，我们甚至还没有考虑过。更多的只是制作一些有趣的游戏。” 虽然 NFT 可能不会出现在 Greene 的元宇宙中，但他说区块链技术有可能在某个时候被集成。 “区块链是一种有趣的金融工具，作为数字世界中的一层……也许区块链或哈希图或该技术的未来迭代会很有趣，”Greene 说道，“归根结底，这是一个数字账本，如果我们可以使用数字账本，我们就会找到最好的一个并使用它。” 他还表示，元宇宙已经成为一个“肮脏的词（dirty word）”，他驳斥了其他元宇宙创造者的举措，称他们制造了“（知识产权）泡沫”，这些泡沫是由低于标准的技术制造的，未能实现炒作：“我认为每个人都在构建 IP 泡沫，如果幸运的话，这些泡沫在未来的某个阶段可能会相互交流，但这不是元宇宙。”
