消息面上，根据中国汽车流通协会披露，预计12月乘用车终端销量在290万辆左右，年底翘尾明显。中国汽车流通协会判断，随着1月春节的临近，工作日数量减少，且大部分消费者返乡或旅游度假，导致到店客流量断崖式下滑。此外，受到价格回收阵痛期的影响，成交率也会随之下滑，1月销量相比去年12月会有明显下降。
汇丰研究发布报告称，随中国内地电动车的推进，整体趋势依然明确，不过该行在今年初态度转向更加谨慎，主要因为冬季较低的需求，以及价格和销量的压力上升。今年首季的需求及价格走势或会因为季节性因素而按季下跌，同时有部分销售因为2025年的以旧换新补贴规模不明朗，提早在2024年第四季发生。
