Avon Technologies Renews U.K. Defense Contract Valued at Up to $12.4 Million

Avon Technologies said it renewed a contract valued at up to 10 million pounds ($12.4 million) supporting the U.K.'s defense program.

The U.K. manufacturer of gas masks and helmets said Thursday that Avon Protection signed a multimillion-pound contract renewal with Thales UK. It said it would continue to supply capability for the U.K.'s defense over the next six years.
