BlockBeats 消息，1 月 11 日，SCIHUB 社区正式发布项目白皮书，由 WTF Academy 创始人 0xAA 撰写，Sci-Hub 创始人 Alexandra Elbakyan 深度参与审核与编辑，为项目的愿景和规划提供了重要指导。SCIHUB 以 Meme 币形式支持科学资助，范式启发了 proof.fun 和 MIRA。
白皮书中明确，SCIHUB 社区将总共捐赠 2 亿枚 SCIHUB（占总量 20%）至 Alexandra 的账户中，以支持 Sci-Hub 的运营与发展。根据计划，Alexandra 每月最多可出售 1% 的总量（1000 万枚 SCIHUB），用于维持平台的正常运作。目前，Alexandra 已经通过 SCIHUB 为 Sci-Hub 的开发和维护筹集了 500,000 美元。
白皮书还提出了多项未来规划，包括：
- 期刊奖励功能：为科学文献的贡献者和读者提供代币奖励，激励更多的开放式学术贡献；
- 去中心化存储协议：创建一个权限无关且抗审查的存储平台，用于保护科学文献、实验数据和代码；
- 开放科学启动平台：为创新的开放科学项目提供资助支持，帮助科学家和开发者实现其研究愿景。
