Technology stocks were falling premarket Monday with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) down 1.2% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) 2% lower recently.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) has started producing advanced four-nanometer chips for US customers at its facility in Arizona, Reuters reported Friday, citing Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing shares were over 3% lower pre-bell.
Apple's (AAPL) board of directors urged investors to vote against a shareholder proposal seeking to eliminate the company's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs, according to a proxy filing from the company late Friday. Apple shares were 1% lower premarket.
