U.K. outsourcing company Serco said it appointed Anthony Kirby as group chief executive designate, taking over from Mark Irwin, who is retiring.
Irwin is set to step down from his role on Feb. 28 and continue to advise the company during a transition period, Serco said. He had been with the company for 12 years.
Kirby, chief executive of Serco's U.K. and Europe's division, will succeed Irwin on March 1, the group said.
Serco's guidance for 2024 and 2025 remains unchanged, it said.
