Bain Capital raised its bid for Insignia Financial (ASX:IFL) to AU$4.30 cash per share from AU$4 cash per share, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The revised bid represents a 7.5% premium to the original offer and the same proposal as that of rival CC Capital Partners.

Bain Capital noted in its new offer that it is open to offering a part of the total consideration in scrip in the ultimate Bain Capital-controlled holding entity of Insignia Financial, per the filing.

Insignia Financial said it is considering Bain Capital's offer in parallel with its consideration of CC Capital's proposal.
