鲁北化工公告，公司拟投资3.3亿元建设年产60万吨硫磺制酸及余热发电项目，建设期2年。项目建成后，能够缓解鲁北化工园区内硫酸供应紧张情况，满足公司生产肥料及钛白粉的需求，同时配套硫酸输送管网，有助于降低下游产品的生产成本，缓解园区内企业的运输成本压力，减少运输硫酸带来的公共危险。另外，本项目副产大量蒸汽，可供给园区内氧化铝、钛白粉等生产装置使用，完善鲁北循环经济产业链。项目投资回收期为6.45年（税后，含建设期），预计对公司2025年度经营业绩不构成重大影响。
