Sterlite Technologies' (NSE:STLTECH, BOM:532374) US subsidiary has self-certified its optical fiber cable products to meet Build America Buy America (BABA) requirements, according to a Monday release filed with the Indian bourses.
The certification enhances its position in federally funded broadband infrastructure projects, which are part of the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program, aimed at expanding internet access in underserved areas, according to the release.
