Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment China (SHA:688012), or AMEC, plans to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary, AMEC Chengdu, in the Chengdu High-Tech Zone in China's Sichuan province.
The total investment of 3.05 billion yuan from 2025 to 2030 will go towards building a research and development and production base, serving as the Southwest China headquarters, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
AMEC Chengdu will have a registered capital of 100 million yuan. It will target annual sales of 1 billion yuan by 2030, which would help boost the regional semiconductor industry chain.
