1月14日，日本企业松下控股发布消息称，与中国智能手机巨头OPPO和小米就手机使用的通信标准相关专利签订了交叉授权协议。与此同时，松下控股撤回了2023年对OPPO和小米在中国和欧洲提起的诉讼。

松下方面称，交叉授权协议涉及到3G和LTE的通信标准相关专利。与OPPO的协议是松下控股与OPPO双方之间签订的，与小米的协议则是包括松下控股转让部分专利的企业在内，在三方之间签订的。该公司表示，今后与OPPO和小米“有可能进行利用知识产权的共同项目等合作”。

OPPO方面表示，该公司与松下就蜂窝通信标准必要专利签署了一项全球专利交叉许可协议。协议由双方友好协商达成，内容涵盖知识产权的多领域合作计划，并将终结双方在全球范围内所有司法管辖区的未决诉讼。截至2024年12月底，OPPO全球专利申请量超过11万件，全球授权数量超过6.1万件。其中，发明专利申请在所有专利申请中占比达91%。

小米方面暂未就此事发声。截至2024年6月30日，该公司全球专利授权数量超过4万件，审查中的专利申请数量超过3.2万件。
