1月15日消息，据彭博社报道，Galaxy的VisionTrack数据显示，去年众多加密对冲基金实现了两位数回报率，VisionTrack Composite Index追踪的130家基金整体跃升40%。但与比特币的大幅上涨相比，这些收益就显得微不足道了。比特币飙升了120%，首次突破10万美元大关。
专注于数字资产方向性和量化策略的对冲基金表现最佳，VisionTrack Quant Directional Index上涨53.7%，VisionTrack Fundamental Index增长40.4%，而VisionTrack Market Neutral Index则增加约18.5%。知情人士透露，Galaxy Digital的Alpha Liquid Fund去年上涨76.6%。David Tawil于2018年推出的多策略加密基金ProChain Master Fund增长约70%，其2023年已增长80%，得益于大型代币持仓。由前华尔街资深人士Ryan Price和Raghav Chopra运营的Tephra Digital Asset Fund LP全年回报率约100%，而前一年为41%。
Galaxy Research团队指出，去年加密基金波动较大，经历大幅回撤后年底强劲反弹。表现不佳的基金未能抓住11月的上涨，仅少数顶尖基金全年超越比特币。大部分收益来自第四季度，当时特朗普成为加密行业最大支持者，其胜选推动比特币等加密货币创新高。此外，比特币的成功还得益于直接投资比特币的交易所交易基金的推出，如贝莱德iShares Bitcoin Trust，在11个月内资产规模超500亿美元。
