Fertoz (ASX:FTZ) ) plans to change its registered company name to Canadian Phosphate to align with its strategy of focusing on growing phosphate resources, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Subsequently, the company intends to change its ASX listing code to "CP8" from "FTZ", the filing said.
The name change is subject to shareholder approval, the filing added.
Company shares jumped 8% in recent trade.
