新华财经马德里1月18日电（谢宇智）中国锂离子电池生产商德方纳米科技股份有限公司周五宣布，与全球领先的特种矿物公司ICL集团达成协议，将在西班牙加泰罗尼亚自治区的萨伦特镇合资建立一座锂离子电池材料工厂。
据德方纳米董事会发表的声明，工厂的初始投资为2.85亿欧元，德方纳米将持有20%的股份，而ICL将控股剩余的80%。西班牙《国家报》称，这家占地约10万平方米的工厂将成为该地区第一家生产磷酸铁锂的工厂。
磷酸铁锂是锂离子电池正极材料，也是生产制造电动汽车的关键部件。在欧洲电动汽车市场迅速扩张的背景下，锂离子电池需求近年激增。德方纳米副总经理任望保强调，合资项目将“充分利用合作双方的优势”，并扩大德方纳米在欧洲市场的影响力和竞争力，为该公司成为全球领先的新能源材料解决方案提供商提供支持。
与此同时，ICL磷酸盐解决方案部门总经理菲尔·布朗（Phil Brown）则说，磷酸铁锂是“欧洲未来能源转型的关键解决方案”。在肯定德方纳米是“重要的长期合作伙伴”的同时，他表示，双方将共同“开发一个重要的新增长市场”。
