European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were edging up on Friday morning, up 0.2% to 1,328.33 on the S&P Europe Select ADR Index.
From continental Europe, the gainers were led by e-commerce company MYT (MYTE) and cybersecurity company WiseKey (WKEY), which rose 10% and nearly 5% respectively.
They were followed by semiconductor company STMicroelectronics (STM), which was adding 2.4%.
The decliners from continental Europe were led by pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk (NVO) and biotech company Evaxion (EVAX), which fell 4.3% and 3.3% respectively.
From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by insurance provider Prudential (PUK) and cruise operator Carnival (CUK), which rose 4.2% and 3.6% respectively.
The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by cell therapy company TC Biopharm (TCBP) and medical products maker Trinity Biotech (TRIB), which dropped 6.1% and 3.1% respectively.
