Schlumberger (SLB) said Friday its operations in Russia, where it has taken measures to curtail its activity, are still aligned with new US sanction requirements.

"We are reviewing the new US sanctions. And at this point, we believe that our voluntary measures are aligned with these new sanctions," Chief Executive Olivier Le Peuch told analysts in an earnings call, according to a FactSet transcript.

The oilfield service provider's revenue from its Russian operations has been declining, accounting for 4% of global revenue last year, compared with 5% in 2023, he added.

"Since the start of the conflict, we have taken a volatile measure to curtail our Russia activity, including...halting shipments of product and technology into Russia" from all facilities worldwide in 2023, Le Peuch said.
