消息面上，近日，第一太平发布公告，宣布其附属公司Pacific Light Power Pte. Ltd.(简称PLP)已获新加坡能源市场管理局的授权，计划在裕廊岛建造、拥有及运营一座氢燃料的复循环燃气涡轮机设施。该设施预计于2029年1月开始运营，发电量最少为600兆瓦，将成为新加坡最大单一H级复循环燃气涡轮机发电厂，具备同类设施中最高的效率。
据介绍，新发电厂初始阶段将能够最少使用30%的氢发电，未来将实现100%燃烧氢发电。PLP目前拥有830兆瓦的液化天然气为燃料的复循环设施，致力于为新加坡提供可靠且符合严格环境排放标准的电力。
