Curtiss-Wright Wins $27 Million Contract to Provide Aircraft Handling Systems to US Navy

Curtiss-Wright (CW) said Tuesday it has won a $27 million contract from Canadian Commercial to supply aircraft ship integrated securing and traversing systems to the US Naval Air Warfare Center.

The award is part of a five-year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with a potential value of about $100 million, the company said.

Curtiss-Wright said it will use its facility in Mississauga, Ontario, to provide critical aircraft handling systems and support to the US Naval Air Warfare Center for use on Constellation Class Frigates.

Shares of the company were up nearly 4% in recent trading.
