Avon Technologies said it performed in line with expectations in its fiscal first quarter, and stuck to its guidance for the year.
The British manufacturer of gas masks and helmets said Friday that order momentum continued in the three months through Dec. 31.
Recent wins such an $18 million delivery order for the U.S. Army and a renewed contract in the U.K. valued at up to 10 million pounds ($12.4 million) further strengthened the company's long-term order book, it said.
In November the company said it expected mid-single-digit revenue growth in fiscal 2025 and that its operating profit margin would be similar to the 11.5% it reported for fiscal 2024.
"The board remains confident that the group's strategic initiatives will support sustained growth and improved returns over the long term and that Avon remains well-positioned to deliver exceptional shareholder value," it said.
