Energy Transition Minerals (ASX:ETM) plans to focus on the Kvanefjeld rare earths project in Greenland, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The mining firm's board plans to visit Nuuk and Narsaq in Greenland in the first quarter to engage with representatives of the Greenlandic government and parliament, as well as local stakeholders.
Its unit, Greenland Minerals, has engaged in an arbitration process with the Greenlandic and Danish governments concerning the granting of an exploitation license for the Kvanefjeld project since 2022.
The firm is seeking to have legal proceedings, filed in the Court of Greenland and the District Court of Copenhagen against the governments of Greenland and Denmark, referred to the same High Court, in either Greenland or Denmark, and consolidated there.
The firm's shares rose over 2% on market close on Wednesday.
