Black Cat Syndicate (ASX:BC8) said the commissioning of the processing facility at its Paulsens gold project in Western Australia is expected to be completed in February and high-grade ore is now being fed into the facility, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

Results have indicated improved recoveries of gold from low-grade material, the filing said.

It is also conducting selective mining, with the first stoping expected in February. The mining firm is also preparing diamond drilling platforms ahead of underground grade control and extensional drilling, which will commence in February.
