Auric Mining (ASX:AWJ) expects to start mining operations at the Munda gold project in Western Australia in March, pending permit approvals, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
It completed an updated mineral resource estimate and definition of an ore reserve for a starter pit in the December 2024 quarter.
It sold 7,302 ounces of gold from its Jefferys Find gold project, also in Western Australia, in the December 2024 quarter for an average price of AU$4,211 per ounce. It sold 7,551 ounces of gold for an average sale price of AU$3,701 in previous quarters.
It also plans to conduct reverse circulation drilling at the Spargoville gold project in Western Australia to test known mineralization trends.
The firm's shares fell nearly 5% in recent trading on Friday.
