Salesforce to Lay Off More Than 1,000 Employees, Bloomberg Reports

-- Salesforce plans to lay off more than 1,000 employees as it shifts focus to artificial-intelligence products, Bloomberg reported.

-- It couldn't be determined which units will be affected, Bloomberg reported, citing a person close to the situation.

-- Displaced workers will be able to apply for other jobs internally, according to Bloomberg.

-- Salesforce, the leading maker of customer management software, is cutting these jobs even as it hires more salespeople focused on the company's new AI agent products, Bloomberg reported.
