Two of Haisco Pharmaceutical Group's (SHE:002653) units received the Chinese drug administration's approval to conduct clinical trials of the HSK39004 inhalation powder, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange disclosure on Thursday.
Tibet Hiseko Pharmaceutical and Sichuan Hiseko Pharmaceutical will trial the drug as a treatment for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, the pharmaceutical company said.
Haisco's shares rose more than 1% in recent trade.
