Arika Resources (ASX:ARI) said results from a surface rock chip sampling program at its Yundamindra gold project in Western Australia showed potential for high-grade mineralization, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The program was designed as a first-pass assessment of new areas highlighted from structural targeting and it returned high-grade rock chip samples of up to 19.3 grams-per-tonne grade of gold.
The firm's shares rose past 7% in recent trading on Thursday.
