Tamboran Resources (ASX:TBN) concluded stimulation activities across 35 stages at its Shenandoah South 2H sidetrack (SS-2HST1) well in the Northern Territory, achieving new records in the Beetaloo Basin, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company conducted the stimulation on a 5,483-foot horizontal section of the Mid Velkerri B shale using US-based Liberty Energy's equipment, the filing said.
The well achieved an average proppant intensity of 2,706 pounds per foot and wellhead injection rates above 100 barrels per minute, the filing added.
The SS-2HST1 well will now proceed to clean out ahead of flow back and production testing, the company said.
