Sino Medical Sciences Technology (SHA:688108) obtained approval from Malaysia's Medical Device Authority for the registration of its NC ROCKSTAR non-compliant balloon dilatation catheter, according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange disclosure on Thursday.
The Chinese medical device manufacturer will be allowed to market the product, which is used to improve myocardial perfusion in patients with atherosclerosis, the disclosure said.
The company's shares rose more than 2% in recent trade.
